Neutral Nudes & textures
in the workplace
Nude and neutral colours are in this year, with everyone craving an aesthetically pleasing workspace, we will give you all of our tips to transform your workspace whether in the office or at home into a nude and neutral paradise.
Neutral Nudes
Separated into three categories; warm, cool and neutral. Each tone has its own subtle personality, discretely setting the tone of a space. When styled well, an entirely nude or neutral palette is great for focusing the eye to certain objects in the room and drawing attention to different tones & textures.
No matter what shade you chose every tone of nude will look classic with a pop of black, or a complimenting colour.

Pampas Grass
Cortaderia selloana also known as Pampas Grass, is a flowering plant native to South America. This dried flower has been flocking into people’s homes this year due to its neutral colour and unique look, this flower really blends in with any interior design style. The zero maintenance dried flower will add an effortless touch of soft texture and décor to any space. We use pampas grass in a clear glass vase as the centre piece in our Allenby office, but we also like to see it filling the corner of a room, it’s magic when the sunlight hits its fluffy leaves.

Line Artwork
This minimalistic artwork style is inspired by artists such as Matisse and Picasso by creating art using body parts made out of lines. They embrace simplicity and create an aesthetically pleasing feeling with their clean look and bold lines. Whilst traditionally created with a white background and black lines, these cool pieces of art will go with any colour palette. We like to buy local wherever possible – we love the line drawing prints available from Paper Rosie Shop within Paragon Arcade.
Or local artist Charlie Broomfield sells ink on paper original line drawings from his shop Homestead Store.

Minimal Design
“Less is more” is a phrase we hear our designer Georgia say often at Allenby’s. A minimalistic designed space incorporates many things such as an open floor plan, lots of light and simple line furnishings. All of these things put together create a soothing and inviting space that is easy on the eye and has a timeless aesthetic. Removing all excess detail from the space is key, this is much easier said than done in a busy office!! Plenty of storeage is the best solution for open plan offices, we recommend our tenant at The Trade Yard – Oaks of Beverley for custom-storeage.
